Audi A3 2012

The house with the four rings is changing the sheets on his board position bets, has advanced since the introduction of the new generation Audi A3, originally scheduled for late next year, in early 2011. The reason put news in a market that is hard and stay on the crest of the wave, while in parallel working hard on other models very important to their interests such as the Audi A1 hatch and Audi Q3 SUV will be manufactured in Seat plant in Martorell.

Meanwhile, make the new Audi A3 2011 coming to market earlier this year, as I said before, and both three and five-door hatchback, but that's not all, because at a later date we will have a 2012 Audi A3 convertible and a German version of the compact family, without discarding either the presentation of a sports sedan version, similar in concept to Audi A5 hatchback and a compact SUV A3.

The play that hides the change of tiles on the board aims at strengthening market segment and compete with the Audi A3 from the BMW 1 Series and the next generation of Class A and B of Mercedes Benz.

This new generation of Audi A3 in its 2011 version, again share platform with its cousin the Volkswagen Golf, which means that Audi has rejected, at least for this model, its new modular platform. But hopefully a new Audi A3 renovated, larger and more elegant in its design, as suggested by the renders posted by fellow Motor Authority and carried out by Schulte Design

As for engines, the 2012 Audi A3 will offer four-cylinder engines with capacities from 1.2 to 2.0 liters. From its basic version that will carry the 1.2-liter 105-horsepower TSFI, followed by a 1.4 liter TFSI 125 hp and a 1.8-liter TFSI 160 hp.

And at higher levels, always with four-cylinder engines, a 2.0-liter will TSFI of 211 horses at the top of the range, the Audi S3 should hide in the bowels of a four cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged and direct injection with many horses.

A news we see throughout the year, especially after the summer in the Paris Salon, it all depends on the moves to make their rivals Mercedes Benz and BMW.
