Audi RS1, Almost Without Camouflage Wheel
That is what we interpret after seeing a small Audi A1 in Nürburgring Nordschelife only a few days ago. Wasn't Audi A1 any, was markedly wider wheels were 18-inch as a minimum and rolled to a difficult to achieve by a simple utilitarian car pace.
That possible prototype Audi RS1, barely wearing camouflage, and that could see us really like. The front skirt WINS significantly in size, and although they were blocked, there are forms of typical entries for the Audi RS air. On the other hand the side skirts with broadened fins make sportsmanship to appreciate you look where or look.
In the rear, we also like what we saw. On the one hand, a wing of considerable dimensions reveals that it is not one model either. Most reminds me of the of a Ford Focus RS as to the wing of a MINI Cooper S. And in the bottom of the rear, a diffuser surrounding the two exhaust exits, one on each side of the car.
In some of the photos, you can appreciate some details of the interior. The most striking are the seats that are not typical of an Audi A1 "to dry", but they are a few more sports, with the upper part of the support closer and a more athletic look. Of course, I imagine that when it comes on the market it will have available as option impressive seats baquet that already featured the Audi RS5 we tested a few months ago (Audi RS5, test: part 1, part 2, part 3 and part 4).
Everything seems to be ready therefore for presentation in the near future a RS1 Audi, the most radical version of the German utility small. The best is that it is likely that you mount the engine 2.5 TFSI who rides the Audi TT RS we tested a few months ago, and the same which leads Audi RS3 Sportback with which Javier Álvarez had his first shot of contact in Portugal.
Thus, could be before Audi RS1 with 340 horsepower, and a couple and accelerating make it able to make it ridiculous to any supercar, included his older brother the Audi R8. In times like this, is when I thank that my passion is cars and not games of poker.
